When the world outside is crumbling And you can't find an easy way home Look to the land as if it's calling you There's a love that's deeper than you know And it will find you. Aa-aa-aaa-aah. Anywhere that you are. It will find you. If the mind inside is tumbling And you can't find an easy way out Look to the land as if it's holding you You will find what you need there in its hands And it will find you. Aa-aa-aaa-aah. Anywhere that you are. It will find you. And if the whole wide world seems to have gone blind And no one feels the web and weave of life Trust your heart and let your bones decide When you least expect it to arrive… And it will find you. Aa-aa-aaa-aah. Anywhere that you are. It will find you.

The Deeper Dive
Reflecting on my friend from 'Human', I drew inspiration from the way my partner helps young women to listen to their nature in her wilderness-based rites of passage work. I looked out at the willow that had been butchered by a neighbour and had sprung back into life, and everywhere I looked, I felt it. The land. Quiet. Still. Eternally moving. It's always there, but often we neither look for it nor listen when it speaks.
